Culture Coach
Are you listening to your students? What are they telling you? I will provide your school leadership with a detailed assessment of your school culture based on my original school culture assessment rubric. Then I will work to empower (using simple systems) all stakeholders to take ownership over creating a school culture where everyone wants to learn and work.
School Improvement
I work directly with leadership teams to use your school’s data to draft a school improvement plan that sets up ALL learners for success. We will use implementation science along with listening to stakeholders to ensure any strategies we use will be intentionally chosen and exercised with fidelity. I guarantee you will see results within the first year of implementation!
Special Education Services
Are you looking to create a school where all students have access to an appropriate education? Are looking looking for ways to write your IEP goals that are transferable to like after graduation? I will help your school develop a comprehensive plan to ensure your students with disabilities have transformational learning experiences inside and outside of your school. I can support your staff in writing better IEPs, using diagnostics to identify areas for growth, and implementing Functional Behavior Assessments to ensure behaviors to not interfere with learning.
Behavior Support Services
I partner with schools to eliminate the punitive behavior systems that only put a band aid on disruptive behavior and never get to the root cause. I will work with schools to understand how to better listen to students and use behavioral root cause analysis. Then I will coach leaders and staff in practicing proactive strategies to teach appropriate behavior and restoration practices when behaviors upset the learning environment. I will work with you to create a system from the board to the classroom complete with a communication plan to all stakeholders.
Charter School Development
Is there a need in your community or your district that currently does not have the resources to solve? Have you thought about chartering a school to ensure the needs of all students are met? I work with independent and school district authorizers to develop high performing charter schools that address identified need. I will help with design, communication, and system-wide support.
